President John Dramani Mahama, who is the candidate of the National
Democratic Congress (NDC), voted in his home constituency of Bole in the
Northern Region, where he was Member of Parliament for 3 terms
Nana Addo Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New
Patriotic Party (NPP), was also at the Kyebi in the Eastern Region to
cast his ballot. He had also been MP for 3 terms until he decided to run
for the office of president.

(PPP) Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndoum also voted at the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem
(KEEA) Constituency, where he had also been Member of Parliament for a
term.
Dr. Edward Nasigri Mahama of the People’s
National Convention (PNC) also cast his ballot at the Oko Presby polling
station in Accra.
The Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu
Bawumia, was also at the Kperiga polling station in the Walewale
Constituency in the Northern Region to cast his ballot. He described the
process as peaceful.
Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, the vice presidential candidate of the
National Democratic Congress (NDC) was at the Accra High School polling
station to cast his ballot.
The first and only woman presidential candidate for the 2016 elections,
Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, who is the flagbearer of the National
Democratic Party (NDP) was at the Klottey Korley Constituency where she
voted.
Coincidentally, former President JJ Rawlings also voted in the same
constituency, which is where their daughter Zanetor Rawlings is
contesting to be Member of Parliament for the NDC.
